Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This policy explains how the King of Damas app, developed by Nathan Oliveira ("we"), handles information. It follows the GDPR, Brazil's LGPD and Apple's rules.
1. Data we collect
- Games, statistics and preferences (theme, language, rules) are stored only on your device. There is no email or password sign-up.
- Online play: when you open Online, the app creates an anonymous Google Firebase account (a random identifier, no name, email or phone) and an automatically generated nickname. We store the nickname, rating, win/loss record and the moves of online games in Firebase Firestore. Nickname and rating appear on the public leaderboard. There is no chat or free text.
- Advertising: the app shows Google AdMob ads. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may process IP address, device model, approximate location and ad interactions.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalized ads (Google consent form). You can change it in Settings › Ad privacy.
- The app asks for Apple's tracking permission (ATT) only if you choose to watch a rewarded video. If you allow it, the advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used for personalized ads; if you decline, ads keep working without it. You can change this in iPhone Settings › Privacy › Tracking.
- Usage analytics: Google Firebase Analytics records anonymous events (e.g. game started or finished, hints, purchases) and an installation identifier, to help us improve the game.
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never receive card or payment data.
2. How we use it
To run the game, deliver and restore purchases, show ads and understand how the app is used. We do not sell personal data.
3. Sharing
With providers that operate the app: Google (AdMob, Firebase) and Apple (purchases). See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner apps.
4. Your choices and rights
- Subscribe to Premium to remove the banner and the ads between games.
- Email us to delete your online profile (nickname, rating and games).
- Decline tracking (ATT) or review consent in Europe at any time.
- Uninstall the app to delete all local data.
- Email us to access, correct or delete data.
5. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children's data.
